These are some of the digital sculpts I did in the Art Department during the development of Monsters University. Some of my main character sculpts were 3d printed; the majority of the work I did remained digital.
This is the first 3d design sculpt for Don, done from an approved 2d design.
This is the first pass at Randy’s design. This was done early in the development of the film and was later changed to fit his eventual role.
At one point during development Mike’s parents were going to make an appearance.They were later written out of the film, but not before we took a pass at their design in Art.
